We would like
to congratulate all the competitors on their hard work throughout the year.
This was a difficult year unfortunately, with 6 of our 20 students not
completing the event due to sickness and injury. We can say however, that we
are very proud of everyone involved in the Kokoda program this year and they
absolutely exemplified our school values of Courage, Diligence, Integrity and
Respect.
We would also
like to say a big thank you to all of our support crew. Our support crew worked
tirelessly before, during and after the event to make sure the teams had
everything they needed and were well supplied throughout the event. This year
in particular they managed some difficult situations very well.
Thank you to
all the parents for their continued support throughout the year and allowing
your children to participate in this program.
But most of all
congratulations to our incredible students, they did the school very proud at
the end of a difficult week. Their ability to look out for each other, the
effort they gave and their conduct on the track is something we are all very
proud of.
